5 Hour Pre-Licensing Class
Attending the 5 hour pre-licensing class is required in order to schedule your driving test. When you complete the class, LaSalle Driving School will issue the required NY State DMV completion certificate (MV-278). This certificate is used to schedule the road test and must be presented when taking the test.
The class is open to the public and no appointment is necessary. Bring your learners permit and the $55 fee.
Students who have completed an approved driver education course can use a valid drivers education completion certificate (MV-285) to schedule the road test.
